#342 - My Brilliant Plan
Act II. Listen to a story about a man who devotes his entire life to seeing his dead father again. Ron Mallet, author of Time Traveler, kept his life's work a secret.
Act II had such an impact on me that I'm still thinking about it 24 hours later. I listened to this story again this morning on the way to work.
Every man struggles to validate his life's work. Why did I pick this career? Was I meant to devote my whole life to what I am doing or is it just a job? Dr. Mallett stuck with his goals. It's amazing to me that, one, he had one goal in life and, two, he achieved it. Moving story. I wanted Dr. Mallett to see his dad again. His love for his Dad was real.
